A new family-friendly restaurant that has been a long time in the making has come to the western suburbs of Boston, and the team behind two of the region's best-known spots are running the place.
According to a press release, Bianca is now open at The Street in Chestnut Hill, and as mentioned in an earlier article, Tim and Nancy Cushman (o ya, Hojoko) are behind the dining spot. The new restaurant focuses on seasonal dishes with global influences including house-made pastas, sushi rolls, and wood-fired items (and eventually wood-fired pizza and sandwiches) as well as craft beer, wine, sake, and cocktails, while a Roman-style pizzeria called Mr. Roni Cups--which debuted in August--continues to operate within the space. Bianca, which has both indoor dining and outdoor dining on two separate patios, also has a children's menu that includes such items as Japanese fried chicken with ginger-soy marinade, lemon, and French fries, and "Sketti & Meatball."
Plans for Bianca were first mentioned here back in September of 2018.
