A juice bar and cafe that is located high in the mountains of Colorado may finally be moving forward with its opening of a second location in downtown Boston.
According to a tweet from State House reporter Mike Deehan, there appears to be work being done to Jus Aspen, which is moving into a space on Beacon Street across from the State House in the city's Beacon Hill area. The shop has been in the works for awhile now, as a hearing notice from late 2017 mentioned the place, and a sign has been up for it for quite some time. Jus Aspen (which is also known as JÜS Aspen and JÜS En Bonne Santé) first opened its doors in the wealthy Colorado ski town in 2016, with its offerings including soups, salads, sandwiches and wraps, smoothie bowls, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fresh-pressed juices, smoothies, and more.
We have reached out to Jus Aspen to find out when the new shop might be opening, so stay tuned for updates.
The address for Jus Aspen in Beacon Hill is 22 Beacon Street, Boston, MA, 02108. The website for the Aspen shop can be found at https://www.jusaspen.com/
[March 9, 2021 update: It appears that plans for Jus Aspen to come to Beacon Hill may have fallen through, as @SamInBoston has tweeted a picture showing that Suffolk University is apparently taking over the space now.]
