A brand new bakery has come to Cambridge, opening in a space that has been home to two other bakeries.
According to an article from Eater Boston, La Saison Bakery is now open on Concord Avenue, taking over the space where Brit Bakery was, and before that, Violette Gluten Free Bakery (which is now located on Mass. Ave. near Porter Square). The post mentions that the new shop features a variety of breads (including sourdough), along with brownies, cookies, croissants, and kouign-amann (a layered pastry that is popular in France) and that Soheil Fathi and Sarah Moridpour are behind the store, with Fathi originally being from Tehran, Iran where he used to run a high-end bakery and chocolatier that had the La Saison name.
