A beloved Italian restaurant in the northern suburbs of Boston has shut down permanently.
According to an article from Wicked Local, La Vita Mia in Saugus has closed for good, with the Hamilton Street dining spot saying in a Facebook post that "This past year has been tough for everyone, especially small businesses, like ours. It breaks our hearts to have to do this but we feel it is the right thing to do at this time." La Vita Mia first opened in 1997, moving a couple of times before settling into its present location in 2009; the restaurant has been a local favorite over the years, offering a variety of Italian and Italian-American dishes along with beer, wine, and cocktails.
The address for La Vita Mia was 38 Hamilton Street, Saugus, MA, 01906
