At least six more dining spots in the Greater Boston area have shut down temporarily.
According to multiple sources, Terramia Ristorante in Boston's North End, Kickstand Cafe in Arlington, Mexcito Street Tacos in Cambridge's Kendall Square, T&B Pizza in Somerville's Union Square, and Tipping Cow and Pennypacker's in the Magoun Square area in Somerville have closed for now, with a Facebook post from Terramia saying that it will remain closed until February 3 (except for private dinners), a Facebook post from Kickstand stating that it plans to hibernate through January, an Instagram post from Mexcito mentioning that it is looking to reopen in the spring, a Wicked Local article simply saying that T&B Pizza and others in Somerville have closed until at least March or April, a note from a source (Ron Newman) telling us that Tipping Cow plans to reopen on February 12, and an Instagram post from Pennypacker's (via a tweet from @carlanih) noting that it will be going into a "little period of hibernation."
Countless other restaurants and bars in the local area have temporarily closed as the pandemic continues, leading to state and local restrictions along with a sharp reduction in foot traffic in many areas.
[February 3 update: A Facebook post from Terramia indicates that it will not be reopening this week after all, instead looking to open back up on February 11.]
[April 2 update: A message sent from Kickstand Cafe says that it is now open (Wednesday through Sunday).]
[May 11 update: Eater Boston states that T&B Pizza is now open once again, though with a slight name change, as it is now called T&B Wood-Fired.]
[May 27 update: According to their social media pages, Pennypacker's and Tipping Cow are open once again.]
