Eddie Merlot's Opens in Boston's Seaport District

After being in the works for many years, the Boston location of a small group of steakhouses based in Indiana has finally opened.

A message sent from @ConciergeBoston indicates that Eddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef and Seafood is now open in the Seaport District, taking over the former La Casa de Pedro space on Congress Street. A check on the website for the chain confirms this, saying that it is now open for lunch, dinner, and a weekend brunch. Back in 2013, Eddie Merlot's announced plans to open at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel on Summer Street, though that appeared to fall through and in 2019, its new plans to open on Congress Street were introduced.

The Fort Wayne-based group of steakhouses was established in 2001.

The address for the Fort Point location of Eddie Merlot's is 505 Congress Street, Boston, MA, 02210. The website for all locations of the steakhouse is at https://www.eddiemerlots.com/
