It looks like a brand new ice cream shop is on its way to the northern suburbs.
According to a message from local hospitality writer Cheryl Fenton, Cal's Creamery is going to be opening in Reading, taking over the space on Route 28 where Camp To Castle Consignment had been (which is also where Calareso's farm stand and garden center was before they moved a few hundred feet down the road). No opening date has been given as of yet for Cal's, though a Facebook post from the place mentions that it could be debuting sometime this month.
