A Cambridge restaurant that debuted less than a half year before the pandemic took hold has shut down permanently.
According to a source (Alex Wang), Richards in Inman Square is no longer in business, with the website for the Cambridge Street eatery saying "Richards has closed! Thank you for allowing us to feed you!!! Stay safe, stay healthy and eat well!!!" The dining spot first opened in the space where Tex Mex Eats and Tupelo had been in October of 2019, offering classic and New American fare with its menu including such items as pickled and fried broccoli, macaroni and cheese, burgers, cauliflower steak, house-smoked pork belly, grilled chicken, and lasagna.
The address for the now-closed Richards in Inman Square was 1193 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA, 02139. Its website is at https://richards02139.com/
