A North Shore restaurant known for its chicken dishes and other comfort food items is shutting down permanently.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Super Chicken in Beverly is closing for good today, with a Facebook post from the Rantoul Street eatery saying the following:
It is with a heavy heart to say goodbye....We have been lucky to be part of this great city of Beverly along with all the other amazing restaurants and all the mutual respect and support for each other throughout the years....We wish you all the best and Thank you again for these amazing 20 years!
The post also mentions that the space will come under new ownership which will debut a new concept soon, though no specific details have been given as of yet.
The address for Super Chicken is 289 Rantoul Street, Beverly, MA, 01915.
