The people behind a pop-up spot that features fried chicken sandwiches are getting ready to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Hot Chix Boston is planning to open in Inman Square, with a picture shown indicating that it is taking over the former Guangzhou space on Cambridge Street. The team behind the business has been doing pop-ups at Pagu, a Japanese and Spanish tapas restaurant on Mass. Ave. between Central Square and MIT, with options including a Nashville hot chicken sandwich, a less spicy fried chicken sandwich, potato salad, broccoli slaw, and macaroni and cheese.
Hot Chix Boston debuted in 2019, setting up shop at Pagu and other Boston-area spots.
