A local restaurant group known for its high-end dining spots will be opening a new place in Boston's Seaport District, and this one will be located within a new hotel.
According to a job post in the Craigslist site, COJE Management Group plans to open a new restaurant at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, which is slated to open soon on Summer Street across from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The post says that the dining spot is "in the final stages of construction" while the hotel's website actually shows seven options for food and drink within the upcoming hotel, including a casual-upscale restaurant called Coquette that will focus on "flavors from the Basque Country along the Spanish-French coastline," including a hot-and-cold raw bar, flatbreads, fresh seafood, and more; it isn't known whether this will be the restaurant that COJE is behind, so keep checking back for updates.
COJE Management Group currently runs Lolita, Ruka, Yvonne's, Mariel, and Underground.
The address for the upcoming restaurant from COJE Management Group (and the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport) is 450 Summer Street, Boston, MA, 02210. The website for COJE is at https://www.coje.com/
[August 5 update: According to a post within the jobs section of bostonchefs.com, COJE Management Group will indeed be behind Coquette at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, with the plan being to open sometime in September.]
[September 8 update: Eater Boston states that Coquette plans to open tomorrow (Thursday, September 9).]
