Double Zero Opens in Boston's Back Bay

Three years ago, it was reported that a New York-based vegan pizzeria was expanding to Boston. Now we have learned that the dining spot has opened its doors.

According to a press release, Double Zero is now open in the Back Bay, moving into a space on Newbury Street between Dartmouth Street and Exeter Street. As hinted at in an earlier article, the new location of the eatery features wood-fired pizza that uses nut-based cheeses, while the menu also offers vegan versions of eggplant parmesan, baked meatballs, pasta bolognese, and cacio e pepe while beer and wine is also available.

Double Zero got its start in the East Village of Manhattan, with two-time James Beard Award nominee Matthew Kenney being behind the business.

The address for the new location of Double Zero in the Back Bay is 163 Newbury Street, Boston, MA, 02116. Its web page can be found at https://www.matthewkenneycuisine.com/double-zero-boston
