Early this year, it was reported that a small group of coffee shops whose founder/owner was once picked as CNN Hero of the Year would be bringing a location to the Greater Boston area. Now we have learned that the new outlet has opened.
According to an article from NECN, Bitty & Beau's Coffee is now open in Melrose, moving into the former D'Amici's space on Main Street. As mentioned here earlier, the new shop is run by people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with founder Amy Wright naming the stores after her daughter, Bitty, and her son, Beau, both of whom have Down syndrome.
Other locations of Bitty & Beau's Coffee can be found in North Carolina, Georgia, South Carolina, and Maryland.
The address for the new location of Bitty & Beau's Coffee in Melrose is 462 Main Street, Melrose, MA, 02176. The website for Bitty & Beau's Coffee can be found at https://www.bittyandbeauscoffee.com/
