A couple of years ago, it was reported that a brewery was planning to open in Quincy, and now we have learned that it will be coming to a seaside location within the city.
According to an article from the Patriot Ledger, Break Rock Brewing is going to be opening at Marina Bay, with the address and video shown indicating that it will move into a space within the Meriel Marina Bay apartment complex. The post mentions that the upcoming spot will include a 10-barrel craft brewery and a taproom along with an outdoor patio, and that it plans to be open from noon to 10:00 PM Thursday through Monday.
Plans for Break Rock Brewing were first announced here in May of 2019, though plans have apparently been in the works for approximately three years now, and as mentioned in an earlier article, Quincy is currently the largest city in New England without a brewery.
