PKL Is Opening at the Iron Works Development in South Boston

A restaurant and entertainment complex that features a red-hot sports trend is on its way to South Boston.

According to a licensing board hearing page within the City of Boston website, PKL is seeking a license to operate at C Street and Old Colony Avenue, with an earlier article from Caught in Southie mentioning that the 21,000-square-foot space will include both a restaurant and pickleball area. PKL, which had been set up as a temporary pickleball space at Assembly Row in Somerville over the summer, hinted at this in an Instagram post earlier this week, saying "It's not goodbye, it's see you in Southie....Thanks for a great summer, can't wait to host you all in the spring. See you soon!"

The space that PKL is heading to is the Iron Works development at the site of the Cole Hersee building, which is between W Broadway and Andrew Square.
