It looks like a Japanese eatery in Jamaica Plain is expanding to a second location in one of the busiest sections of Boston.
According to a source, Tori Japan is planning to open on Boylston Street in the Back Bay, taking over the space that had been home to Teriyaki House until it closed last March. Based on the location on Centre Street in JP, the new outlet of Tori Japan could be offering such items as sushi, bento boxes, teriyaki, spring rolls, tempura, and more.
The people behind Tori Japan also run a restaurant in Bridgewater Township, NJ, called Tori Sushi.
The address for the new location of Tori Japan in the Back Bay is 1110 Boylston Street, Boston, MA, 02215. The website for the Jamaica Plain location is at https://www.torijapan.com/
[May 6 update: A Facebook post from Drew Starr indicates that Tori Japan is now open in the Back Bay.]
