An historic structure that has been home to beer gardens over the past several years is now home to a beer hall that has a rotating group of local breweries.
According to an article from Universal Hub, the Roslindale Substation formally reopened this week, and it has a beer hall set up on Fridays and Saturdays that is starting out with Brockton Beer Company until July. The website for the space says that local brewers will be setting up within the substation for 4-5 month residencies, while coworking space is there as well along with room for events, parties, and popups, including a bookstore which is currently open within the space.
Turtle Swamp Brewing and Trillium had previously had beer gardens open at the substation, which dates back to the early 1900s.
