Santouka Is Opening in the Former Totto Ramen Space in Allston

A chain of ramen shops will be opening another Boston-area location, and this one will take over the space where a location of another group of ramen shops had been.

According to a tweet from @kimchipapi617, Santouka is planning to open in Allston, moving into the space on Brighton Avenue where Totto Ramen had been until shutting down earlier this month. This has been confirmed in an Instagram post from Santouka, saying that it is looking to open sometime this summer.

Santouka currently has outlets locally in Boston's Back Bay and Cambridge's Harvard Square while Totto has Boston-area locations at South Bay in Dorchester and in Somerville's Assembly Row.

The address for the new location of Santouka in Allston is 169 Brighton Avenue, Allston, MA, 02134. The website for all locations of Santouka is at https://santouka-usa.com/

[September 23 update: According to a press release, Santouka plans to open its new location in Allston today at 4:00 PM.]
