A trio of Mexican restaurants is back down to two, as its newest outlet has shut down.
According to multiple sources, The Painted Burro in Bedford is no longer in business, with a note within the website for the business saying that "Our Bedford location is now permanently closed" while referring customers to their Somerville and Waltham locations. The Bedford location of the dining spot first opened last September, taking over one of the Posto locations; another outlet of Posto (called Osterio Posto) had been replaced by The Painted Burro in Waltham last spring, leaving just one location of Posto remaining in Somerville.
The Alpine Restaurant Group is behind both The Painted Burro and Posto, along with Burro Bar in Boston and Brookline and Rosebud Kitchen in Somerville.
The address for the now-closed Painted Burro in Bedford was 158 Great Road, Bedford, MA, 01730. The website for the remaining two locations can be found at https://www.thepaintedburro.com/
