A restaurant and bar in Cambridge that featured comfort food with global influences has quietly shut down, and its space is now for sale.
A message sent by Patrick Maguire of Maguire Promotions & Hospitality Consulting confirms what several others have told us, that Drifter's Tale in Inman Square is no longer in business, and a listing within the bostonrestaurantgroup.com site further confirms this, saying that "The space is adaptable for multiple concepts." Drifter's Tale first opened last summer, offering such items as chickpea fritters, empanadas, blackened shrimp tacos, brisket grilled cheese, flatbreads, steak frites, and fried chicken.
The Drifter's Tale space had previously been home to a location of Bukowski's.
The address for the now-closed Drifter's Tale was 1281 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA, 02139.
