A popular pizzeria and sub shop that has been around for a long time is shutting down.
According to a source along with multiple posters on social media, Andrea's House of Pizza in East Watertown is getting ready to close its doors, with Friday, August 19 being its last day in operation. The website and Facebook page for the Mt. Auburn Street spot don't mention the closing, only saying that it will be closed today but back open tomorrow.
Andrea's House of Pizza first opened in 1982, offering Greek pizza along with subs, wraps, and Italian and Greek dishes.
The address for Andrea's House of Pizza is 620 Mt. Auburn Street, Watertown, MA, 02472. Its website can be found at https://andreaspizza.com/
