Bom Dough Opens in Former Highland Fried/East Coast Grill Space in Cambridge's Inman Square

A new dining spot with global influences has come to a space in Cambridge that has been home to a couple of restaurants over the years.

According to a source, Bom Dough is now open in Inman Square, moving into the space on Cambridge Street where Highland Fried had been until last summer, and before that, East Coast Grill. The website for the new eatery says that it is a "fast-casual restaurant specializing in high-quality cuisine experiences inspired by a melting pot of Brazilian, European, African, and Asian influences" while an earlier Cambridge Day article mentioned that the food would "add a 'smoky touch' to its 'commonly known traditional meals with a twist [of] seasonings inspired from Brazilian, Italian, French and Japanese cuisine.'"

A few items on the menu at Bom Dough include black bean soup, cheese bread, acai bowls, short rib pot pie, yakisoba, grilled veggies and rice, and a ham and cheese bun.

The address for Bom Dough in Inman Square is 1271 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA, 02139. Its website can be found at https://www.bomdough.com/
