It looks like a South Shore restaurant known in part for its Italian dishes is closing its doors.
According to a source, Granite Grill in Braintree is shutting down, with a Facebook event page saying that "The Granite Grill will be closing its doors on Sept 25th 2022" while mentioning a farewell event for its manager later this week, though the event has apparently been canceled. No further information on its closure has been given as of yet, but if we hear anything else about the restaurant, we will post an update here.
In addition to Italian options such as chicken parmigiana, pasta primavera, and bolognese, Granite Grill also offers such items as steak tips, burgers, fish and chips, pork chops, and baked stuffed chicken.
The address for Granite Grill is 703 Granite Street (Granite Plaza), Braintree, MA, 02184. The website for the restaurant is at https://www.granitegrillfx.com/
[September 29 update: A check on the place indicates that Granite Grill remains open for now, with social media posts indicating that it closes down tomorrow (Friday, September 30).]
[October 3 update Another check on the restaurant confirms that Granite Grill is now permanently closed, based on a note out front.]
