A pair of Greek eateries is now down to one, as its original location has shut down.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Gyro City in the Fenway section of Boston is now closed, with a note out front at the Peterborough spot saying that "our time here in Fenway has come to an end." The note does say that its outlet on Chestnut Hill Avenue in Brighton will remain open for business.
Gyro City first opened in the Fenway in 2014, offering gyros, souvlaki, spanakopita, baklava, and more; the Brighton location opened approximately three years later.
The address for the now-closed Gyro City in the Fenway was 88 Peterborough Street, Boston, MA, 02215. The website for the Brighton location is at http://gyrocityboston.com
