It looks like a local group of Italian restaurants will soon be down to just one.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Papa Razzi in Concord is planning to close, with a Concord Bridge article posting a statement from Paul O'Reilly (who is CEO of Newport Restaurant Group) that says the following:
Due to significant issues pertaining to our lease, Newport Restaurant Group has made the difficult decision to close its Papa Razzi Trattoria location in Concord, Massachusetts effective July 31, 2023, at the conclusion of our existing lease....We are saddened to close its doors and will work to relocate our valued employee-owners to other nearby existing and soon-to-open Newport Restaurant Group restaurants in the coming months.
Once the Concord location shuts down, the only remaining outlet of Papa Razzi will be in Wellesley, as other locations in Boston, Burlington, Chestnut Hill, and Framingham are no longer in operation.
The address for Papa Razzi in Concord is 768 Elm Street, Concord, MA, 01742. The website for Papa Razzi can be found at https://www.paparazzitrattoria.com/
[June 7 update: A note on its website indicates that the Concord location of Papa Razzi is now closed, having shut down before its planed closing date of July 31.]
