Crush Pizza Is Opening in East Boston

A pizzeria known for its Neapolitan-style pies that said farewell to its downtown Boston location a couple of years ago is returning to the city, though in a new location a few miles away.

According to a source (Geoff Wong) on the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page via a Facebook post from the business, Crush Pizza is planning to open in East Boston, moving into a space on Saratoga Street in Orient Heights. Once it opens, the new location will join another on Hancock Street in Quincy Center; its original spot was on State Street on the northern edge of Boston's Financial District until it closed toward the end of 2020.

When the downtown Boston location of Crush Pizza closed, there had been talk of a new outlet opening in another part of the city, though it wasn't known exactly where at the time.

The address for the upcoming location of Crush Pizza in East Boston is 975 Saratoga Street, East Boston, MA, 02128. The website for the business can be found at
