The person behind a trio of French restaurants will be opening a trio of French bakeries.
Based on information within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, along with an article from boston.com, Loic Le Garrec of Petit Robert Bistro and the brand new Marseille in Boston's South End as well as Batifol in Cambridge's Kendall Square is opening PRB Boulangerie in Somerville and Kendall Square while we have also heard that one is coming to the South End as well (in the former Green Light Cafe space). The Somerville outlet will also a commissary and will take over the former FAB/Bergamot/EVOO space on Beacon Street, while the Cambridge location will be next to Batifol on Third Street. The boston.com article mentions that both shops will offer such items as bread and pastries.
Marseille soft-opened last weekend in the former Brasserie/Gaslight Brasserie du Coin space on Harrison Avenue in the SoWa part of Boston's South End.
