A restaurant, bar, and bowling alley is on its way to a new mixed-use development just off Route 93.
According to an article from Universal Hub, Urban Wild has gotten approval from the Boston Licensing Board to open at Hood Park in Charlestown, with the place being a family-friendly spot with room for 430 indoors and another 139 on a seasonal patio. UH also says that the place will have a stage area, while an earlier Charlestown Patriot-Bridge article mentioned "a small performance space" and the Instagram page for the spot says it will indeed feature live music.
If all goes well, Urban Wild could be opening in July.
The address for Urban Wild is 100D Hood Park Drive, Boston, MA, 02129. Its Instagram page can be found at https://www.instagram.com/urbanwildboston/
[July 20 update: According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Urban Wild soft-opens this evening.]
