A brand new Japanese restaurant is planning to open in the southern suburbs of Boston, moving into a space across the street from a popular hiking spot.
According to a tweet from @JeremyKrantz, Tama Japanese Ramen & Bar is going to be opening in Canton, taking over the former Blue Hills Grille space on Route 138. The upcoming dining spot, which will sit across from the Blue Hills reservation, will offer such options as ramen, dim sum, teriyaki, noodle and rice dishes, and kushiyaki (skewered and grilled foods).
Blue Hills Grille closed in June of 2020 after being in business for approximately six years.
The address for Tama Japanese Ramen & Bar is 2790 Washington Street (Route 138), Canton, MA, 02021. Its website can be found at https://tamacanton.com/
[September 18 update: A check on the place over the weekend indicates that Tama Japanese Ramen & Bar is now open.]
