A Salvadoran restaurant in East Boston whose building was hit by a fire earlier this summer has been reborn in a brand new space.
According to a source, Topacio Restaurant is now open on Chelsea Street, moving into a space that had been home to a few other businesses in the past, including Latino's Restaurant. Topacio had previously been on Meridian Street, serving such traditional Salvadoran food items as pupusas and pollo encebollado, but the place was destroyed in a fire in late June.
The address for the new location of Topacio Restaurant is 88 Chelsea Street, East Boston, MA, 02128.
