Chang An in Concord Is Closing

A longtime Chinese restaurant west of Boston is shutting down.

According to an article from Wicked Local, Chang An in Concord is going to be closing its doors after business hours on October 30, as the owners of the dining spot are planning to retire. In the article, co-owner Diane Chang says that "We are so appreciative of all of our customers who have supported us for the past 30 years....It's really more than just a business — it's become a community. We've seen a lot of families over three generations, and they still continue to come through."

Chang An, which first opened in 1993, has been featured on our sibling site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants) as a hidden gem for both traditional Chinese and Chinese-American fare.

The address for Chang An is 10 Concord Crossing, Concord, MA, 01742. Its website can be found at http://changanrestaurantandbar.com/

NOTE: We need your help, as Leslie Hurwitz, who is the father of Marc (the founder of this site) is dealing with health issues and some major related expenses. Please donate at https://gofund.me/76d8ba28, thanks!
