A brewery just north of Boston that has been trying to expand for a couple of years is now facing an uncertain future.
According to a message sent from Nichole Davis of WBZ 1030, Bone Up Brewing Co. in Everett is struggling to remain open, with a blog post from the place saying the following:
Since August 2021...we have been working with our landlords to expand our footprint within the building....Progress crawled in 2022....As of now this expansion that we have been talking about for two years still isn't complete. On top of all that, for reasons we’re still not entirely clear on, our landlords have informed us that they no longer wished to keep us as tenants and may have started taking actions to remove us from the building....things aren't looking particularly rosy at the moment....To be frank, we've been preparing for the worst, because things have been going steadily downhill for months....[We're not closing] yet, anyway, but it's a lot more likely than it seemed at the beginning of the year.
Bone Up Brewing Co. first opened its taproom in the summer of 2016 in an area of Everett known as the Fermentation District, which includes Night Shift Brewing and Short Path Distillery.
The address for Bone Up Brewing Co. is 38 Norman St, Everett, MA 02149. Its website can be found at https://www.boneup.beer/
