A brand new Japanese restaurant has debuted in the western suburbs of Boston after being in the works for more than a year.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Hanami is now open in Belmont, moving into the space on Trapelo Road that had been home to a location of Ben Franklin (and more recently, Hollingworth 5 & 10 and Belmont 5 & 10). The menu from the new dining spot shows shareable plates, sushi, yakitori, ramen, and more, while also serving beer, wine, sake, and cocktails
