Kaia Plans to Open in the South End of Boston

It looks like a new restaurant may be coming to the South End of Boston, and the person behind a growing local group of Greek dining spots appears to be involved.

According to a licensing board hearing page within the City of Boston website, Kaia is looking to open on Harrison Avenue, with the address indicating that it would be moving into the ground floor of The Quinn luxury condo development. The notice mentions that the manager of the proposed restaurant is Demetri Tsolakis, who is the owner of Greco in Downtown Crossing, the Back Bay, the Seaport District, Hub Hall in the North Station area, and soon, the Burlington Mall.

Kaia plans to have a dining room with a bar, a lounge area, and a seasonal patio, and based on the name, it may be a Greek restaurant though more should be known after the hearing next week.

The address for the proposed Kaia in the South End is 380 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA, 02118.
