A new restaurant that features a noodle dish popular in Thailand is on its way to the local area.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, What A Soup is planning to open in Cambridge, with an Instagram post from the upcoming River Street spot saying "What A Soup is hitting town with our authentic Thai Boat Noodle Soup, a Thai favorite! We've got more delicious treats too....Can't wait for you all to taste our special soup." Thai boat noodle soup typically comes with beef and pork and includes blood in the broth, and it is often eaten along the rivers and canals of Thailand; it can be found in some restaurants in the Greater Boston area, though it isn't a particularly well-known item locally.
It appears that What A Soup is moving into the Nu Do Society space, and it does appear that Nu Do Society is indeed closed.
