A brand new Mexican restaurant may be coming to the western suburbs of Boston, and it has a connection to a dining spot with the same name that is located a bit further to the west.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Bandoleros is planning to open in Concord, moving into the space on Sudbury Road that had once been home to Serafina. A Select Board agenda page within the town's website mentions that a meeting is slated to take place next week that will look into the proposal (including a full liquor license for the place), and the notice shows that Elmer Melendez--who is behind Bandoleros in Devens, based on an earlier hearing notice--is involved. We have reached out to Bandoleros to find out if this will be a second location or a move; as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.
Serafina was an Italian restaurant that shut down in 2014.
The address for Bandoleros in Concord is 195 Sudbury Road, Concord, MA, 01742. The website for the Devens location is at https://www.mybandoleros.com/
[November 21 update: A message sent from the place confirms that this will be a second location of Bandoleros.]
[March 13, 2024 update: A poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page states that the new location of Bandoleros in Concord is now open.]
