Asaro Bakery & Cafe Opens in Cambridge

Last summer it was reported that a new bakery-cafe with Israeli influences was planning to open in Cambridge, and now we have learned that it has debuted.

According to a Twitter/X post from Jesse Mermell, Asaro Bakery & Cafe is now open on Cambridge Street, moving into the space between Harvard Square and Inman Square that had been home to a location of Darwin's. As mentioned in an earlier article here, the new spot is run by a family that used to run bakeries in Israel, with co-owner Timna Barsheshet saying at the time that "Our specialty will be finding a middle ground between Israeli and American culture....Our goal is to offer high-quality and delicious baked goods with Israeli authenticity, but with creativity inspired from all around the world."

The address for Asaro Bakery & Cafe is 1629 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA, 02138. Its website can be found at https://asarocafe.com/
