A Colorado-based restaurant group could be replacing its steakhouse near the Boston waterfront with another steakhouse.
According to a licensing board hearing page within the city's website, Eddie Merlot's on Congress Street in the Seaport District is planning to change to Sullivan's Steakhouse, with both chains being part of the Dividend Restaurant Group. Eddie Merlot's first opened in Boston in 2021 after earlier plans to open at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel on Summer Street apparently fell through; Sullivan's Steakhouse does not currently have a presence in the Northeast, with the closest locations being in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
