A group of indoor golf centers that opened one outlet in downtown Boston a couple of years ago may be opening another location, with this one being near the city's waterfront.
According to a licensing board hearing page, Five Iron Golf is planning to open in the Fort Point section of Boston, with the address given indicating that it would move into a space on Summer Street where it goes over A Street. The notice mentions that the proposed spot would have six golf simulators on the lower level with seating areas, a bar, a kitchen, and two duckpin bowling lanes, and a room on the first floor with seven additional golf simulators, seating areas, and a bar (a seasonal patio would also be set up outside).
Five Iron Golf has approximately 25 locations in various cities around the country, including one in the Government Center area of Boston.
The address for the proposed location of Five Iron Golf in Fort Point is 311 Summer Street, Boston, MA, 02210. The website for the company is at https://fiveirongolf.com/
