A new restaurant and bar is making plans to open in a part of Boston that has very few options for full-service dining and drinking.
According to a licensing board hearing page within the City of Boston website, Sorrel and Lime is looking to open in Dorchester, moving into a space on Blue Hill Avenue in the Franklin Field South neighborhood. The notice mentions that the proposed place is seeking a full liquor license and plans to have seating for about 165 along with a bar that will have seating for 12. An earlier Instagram post from state senator Liz Miranda shows construction at the space while stating that "It's beautiful to see and support your friends, so that they can make their dreams come through in real time. The city and our district will be better for it."
The address for the upcoming Sorrel and Lime is 986 Blue Hill Avenue, Dorchester, MA, 02124.
