A popup bagel business that has been based out of Boston's South End has found a permanent space in a nearby part of the city.
According to a source, Brick Street Bagels is making plans to open a brick-and-mortar Shop in South Boston, with an Instagram post from the business saying the following:
10 months in the making and we could not be more excited to finally announce this! We will be opening our first permanent storefront where we will offer fresh bagels, open-faced sandwiches, coffee and whatever else our whimsy leads us to....Our new building is one of the oldest in Southie which brings with it lots of charm but also lots of expense. We are so excited and thankful to have this community that we can involve in the process and ask for help from.
Brick Street Bagels, which started in a South End apartment in 2022 and whose bagels can be found at the South End Buttery along with popup locations around the city, is currently trying to raise funds through NuMarket for the new shop--and they do say they will continue to offer bagels in the South End.
