Super Bien at the Charles River Speedway in Brighton Is Closing

A wine bar and grocer that's located within a marketplace across from the Charles River is shutting down.

According to a source, Super Bien at the Charles River Speedway in Brighton is getting ready to close, with an Instagram post from co-founder Melissa Stefanini (who also goes by the name Nini) saying the following:

Struggled how to do this....Super Bien, as a brick and mortar is closing. Due to factors outside my control (this is not my choice) we are closing and our last service is 4/15....This post doesn't begin to cover all the people I have photos with in this bar—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to my team (understatement). I really will never forget all the people who made this place great. Now, onward.

Super Bien debuted at the Charles River Speedway in the summer of 2022, with Stefanini and Sebastian Galvez of Buenas at Bow Market in Somerville's Union Square being behind the opening of the place. The spot has been known in part for its natural South American wines along with its empanadas.

The address for Super Bien (and the Charles River Speedway) is 525 Western Avenue, Brighton, MA, 02135. Its website can be found at https://www.thesuperbien.site/
