A location of a local group of Mexican restaurants that has been shuttered for well over two years due to a fire is up and running once again.
According to a source, Amelia's Taqueria in Allston is now open, with a Facebook post from the Brighton Avenue dining spot confirming this, saying that "We're back and open! we missed you!" The Allston location of Amelia's was one of several businesses hit by a multi-alarm blaze that caused several million dollars in damage in September of 2022, with the fire destroying the interior of the restaurant.
Other locations of Amelia's Taqueria can be found by Northeastern University, Berklee College, Boston University, Boston College, and at Assembly Row in Somerville.
The address for Amelia's Taqueria in Allston is 180 Brighton Avenue, Allston, MA, 02134. The website for all locations is at https://www.ameliastaqueria.com/
