A new takeout spot has opened in the southern suburbs of Boston, and it sits above an upscale tavern with an ownership connection.
According to its Instagram page, Sparrell's Roadside Kitchen is now up and running in Norwell Center, and a source tells us that it has been opened by the team behind Cheever Tavern which is underneath the store. The new shop (which appears to be going through a soft opening) is offers such to-go items as gourmet pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads, and sushi.
Cheever Tavern first opened in 2020, focusing on classic American and New American fare along with beer, wine, and cocktails.
