Bertucci's in Holliston Has Closed

It looks like yet another location of a local chain of Italian restaurants has closed.

According to a source, Bertucci's in Holliston is no longer in business, with a check on the locations section of the website confirming this, as it has been removed from the site. This comes on the heels of a location in Swampscott shutting down toward the end of last year, with that one leaving only three remaining inside Route 128--in West Roxbury, Newton, and Medford. (Other outlets between Routes 128 and 495 can still be found in Braintree, Waltham, Reading, Norwood, Hingham, Framingham, Mansfield, Andover, and Plymouth.)

Bar Athena in Holliston Has Closed

A restaurant southwest of Boston that offered Mediterranean fare has closed its doors.

According to a Threads post from @jeremykrantz, Bar Athena in Holliston is no longer in business, with a check on its website showing the following note from last week:

Thank you, Holliston! After 5 years, this Friday [was] our final day of service. It has been a great pleasure and honor to serve and get to know many of you. Thank you for everything! Warmly, Lisa, Gordon & the Bar Athena Team

Bar Athena offered such dishes as marinated olives, hummus, baba ghanoush, chicken skewers, halloumi cheese, lamb tenderloin, and pork schnitzel, along with beer, wine, and cocktails.

The address for the now-closed Bar Athena was 770 Washington Street, Holliston, MA, 01746.

Pejamajo Cafe Opens in Holliston

A new cafe featuring crepes has opened in Holliston. Pejamajo, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, features soups, salads, and panini sandwiches in addition to a wide variety of crepes. Some of the crepes served at Pejamajo include ham and gruyere, buffalo chicken, tomato and basil, lemon and berries, key lime, and smores.
