Paul Wahlberg of Hingham's Alma Nove to Open Pizzeria Diciannove

The person who runs an upscale restaurant on the South Shore--and is the brother of two celebrities in the entertainment world--is going to be opening a couple more new spots nearby, including a pizzeria.

According to the Hingham Patch, Paul Wahlberg of Alma Nove at the Hingham Shipyard is looking to open a new spot called Pizzeria Diciannove, which will also be located at this huge waterfront complex that is just off Route 3A. Once it opens (possibly by the end of the year), the new pizza restaurant will be Wahlberg's third, as a burger restaurant called Wahlburgers should be opening at the shipyard sometime in September. (See earlier article on this place at the following link: Paul Wahlberg of Alma Nove in Hingham to Open Wahlburgers.) The Patch article mentions that Pizzeria Diciannove will feature Neapolitan pizzas cooked in brick ovens, and the pies will include house-made toppings. Beer, wine, and liquor will also be available at the new spot, which will only be serving full pizzas (no slices), according to the article.

Paul Wahlberg is the brother of Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, who are known for their work in the music and movie industries.
