The Wine Cellar in Boston's Back Bay Has Closed

It looks like a fondue restaurant in the Back Bay of Boston has closed.

According to posters on the Chowhound site (including food writers MC Slim JB and BostonZest), The Wine Cellar on Mass. Ave. is now shuttered, with a note on its website saying that it is "closed for renovation," while its Facebook page says it is "permanently closed." The Wine Cellar, which first opened in 2004, featured more than 20 types of fondue, as well as an extensive wine list. It also offered a number of appetizers and desserts.

The address for this now-closed dining spot in the Back Bay was: The Wine Cellar, 30 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston, MA, 02115.
