Raffael's Restaurant Opening at the South Shore Country Club in Hingham

A restaurant and caterer with locations in Walpole and Hull will be opening another place in Hingham this spring. According to their Facebook page, Raffael's Restaurant will open at the South Shore Country Club, a public golf course and recreation facility on South Street a short distance southwest of the center of town. The Facebook page states that the new Raffael's will serve both lunch and dinner and will have two ballrooms and a pavilion for functions, banquets, and other events.

An article in the Hingham Journal and Wicked Local mentions that Raffael's signed a 10-year contract for the space within the South Shore Country Club, which is owned by the town of Hingham.

Raffael's, which first started out in Quincy in the late 1980s, features a mix of traditional American, New American, and Italian cuisine in an elegant yet casual environment. The two other locations for Raffael's can be found on Route 1A south of Walpole Center and at the Clarion Nantasket Hotel on Hull Shore Drive in Hull.
