According to Universal Hub, the Barracuda Tavern has been looking to open on Bosworth Street (between Washington and Tremont Streets) where Ye Olde Province Tavern--also known as Hank's Tavern--used to be until closing down about 10 years ago. A March 29 posting on the EveryBlock Boston site has indicated that a license has been issued for the restaurant, so it looks like the opening of the Barracuda Tavern is likely to happen.
Bosworth Street is also home to Marliave, a restaurant and bar that first opened in the late 1800s and was renovated and reopened in 2008 after closing for a short time.
