An eating and drinking event is coming to Boston this weekend, with 30 different foods and 30 different wines offered, as well as a variety of entertainment.
The Phantom Gourmet Wine and Food Phest will be held at the Bayside Expo Center in Dorchester on Saturday, April 10, with festivities going from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Wines from around the world will be available at the event, as will food from a number of area restaurants (including the Chicken Connection, Dorado Tacos, Latitude 43, Sagra, and the Upper Crust Pizzeria). Entertainment will include music, dancing, a champagne room, and wine tasting classes.
Tickets to the Phantom Gourmet Wine and Food Phest are $30 in advance, and $40 at the door (if available). The ticket price includes a sampling of the different wines and foods. [April 8 update: According to the Phantom Gourmet's Twitter page, online tickets to this event are sold out, but advance tickets can still be bought at Upper Crust Pizzeria and tickets at the door will still be available.]
The Bayside Expo Center is located at 200 Mount Vernon Street in Dorchester, just off the Southeast Expressway (Columbia Road exit).
